Feel free to stop by the office for a complimentary tour and to meet our dental team. The office in the Monument Park Building is over 5 years old and was just updated to accommodate our growing patient base. We offer the latest in Sterilization Technology, utilizing hands free operation and instrument cassettes which prevent any cross contamination. In addition, we have implemented a paperless charting system and digital imaging (both with intraoral x-rays and cameras). Digital x-rays reduce patient exposure by up to 90%!

Your rights as a dental patient.

At Dexter Family Dentistry, we feel your patient rights include, but are not limited to, making an educated decision about the best treatment for your tooth. This involves you fully understanding all aspects of your dental care, your dental insurance, and your dental team. Dr. Kolb and staff offers initial complimentary consultations for new patients with dental questions. The new office also has software programs specifically dedicated to educating patients on their dental treatment.

Patient protection and sterilization.

Our dental team goes to great lengths to protect each and every patient's health, safety, and private personal information. This new office was designed with patient confidentiality in mind. From our private patient "kiosk" style check-in area, to our paperless patient charting systems, to our state of the art sterilization techniques, Dexter Family Dentistry goes the extra mile to ensure the safety of it's patients and staff.

At Dexter Family Dentistry, you can look forward to meeting Dr. Kolb on your very first visit. Being a stable, thriving practice in the Dexter community, they take great pride in their friendly, professional dental team and strive to get to know each and every one of their patients. Knowing their patients and understanding their specific dental concerns will allow them to provide comprehensive and quality dental care. On your first visit, Dr. Kolb and his staff will evaluate your specific dental needs. This usually includes a comprehensive dental examination, x-rays as necessary, and a cleaning (Note: Some cases may need multiple cleaning appointments initially). In addition, Dexter Family Dentistry offers a knowledgeable dental team, cable television, nitrous oxide (available upon request), and the latest in digital dental technology.

What if I have an emergency?

If between the hours of 8AM and 5:30PM, Monday - Friday, please call the office at 734-426-9000, and someone will take your call and notify Dr. Kolb. If after hours, please call the office at 734-426-9000, and the message system will direct you to an emergency contact number.

Finances/Insurance questions.

For specific questions regarding your dental insurance, please call 734-426-9000. Co-pays and patient payments are due at the time of treatment.

Dexter Family Dentistry accepts most insurance plans, and we go to great lengths to help each of our patients understand their dental insurance and how it will help pay for portions of their dental care.

We accept cash, check, Visa, and Mastercard payments.

In addition, Dexter Family Dentistry offers Care Credit, an independent interest free alternative for paying for dental treatment.

Our office offers a "lay-a-way" option which allows patients to make payments prior to the start of treatment. In addition, payments may be spaced over the length of the appointments (at no interest expense to you), however, final payment is due prior to completion of treatment.
